What is a good men's watch?

Could anyone recommend a good brand to me? I'm 16, so those $500+ ones aren't exactly in my range.





Also, are the Swiss ones worth it? Are Rolex, Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, and A. Lange %26amp; Sohne watches worth the $5,000-$100,000+? Why are they so much money? Do they last forever?

You can find them at almost any department store.|||People buy Rolex for status. Heuer is the best and very expensive. Race car drivers, deep sea divers wear them. I have a Colman (25USD) that is indestructible. They say in big cities if you wear a Rolex on your left arm when driving, you could lose your watch and maybe your arm.|||The more expensive the watch, the more reliable they are. It's also a status thing.





Get what you can afford and what you think looks good.|||The watches by citizens are very nice. You can get them at Macy's. All different styles. My boyfriend thins Rolex are worth it because he has 2. They are nice and are made out of platinum and gold. The craftsmanship's is really good.|||I'm not sure what your price range is exactly but this is the watch I bought and it is the perfect watch, good for all occasions.
